Bilbao Basket wins Euskal Kopa with victory over Baskonia

Coach Jaume Ponsarnau noted that while there are areas for improvement, the team's performance was solid, particularly regarding defensive stability and the integration of new players like Vautier. The team utilized a deep rotation to exploit Baskonia's limited roster and fatigue issues. A decisive 2-15 run in the second quarter allowed Bilbao Basket to take control of the game.

In contrast, Baskonia struggled with a depleted squad, relying on individual efforts from players like Damion Baugh and AJ Lawson. Several key players, including Markus Howard, Tadas Sedekerskis, DJ Stewart, and Rodions Kurucs, were unavailable due to injury or health concerns.
