Euskaltel-Euskadi secures top 30 UCI ranking for Grand Tour eligibility

The Euskaltel-Euskadi cycling team has secured a position within the top 30 of the UCI World Ranking, finishing in 28th place. This achievement opens the possibility for the team to receive invitations to Grand Tour races, such as the Vuelta a España, the Giro d’Italia, or the Tour de France, subject to organizer discretion.

The team solidified its standing through strong performances in Panama at the Gran Prix de Chiriquí and the Clásica Provincia de Chiriquí. During these events, several riders finished in the top five, and Gotzon Martín secured a victory in the general classification. These results allowed the team to surpass competitors like Bardiani CSF to maintain its ranking.

This milestone comes as the team prepares for the upcoming season, which will include the return of climber Mikel Landa, who has signed a two-year contract with the squad.
