Eusko Alkartasuna celebrates 40 years of political activity

Eusko Alkartasuna (EA) has marked the 40th anniversary of its foundation. Party leader Eba Blanco emphasized the organization's historical role, stating that Euskal Herria would not be the same today without its contributions.

Blanco acknowledged that the party has faced difficult periods due to internal divisions and admitted that not all decisions were correct. Despite these challenges, she reaffirmed EA's commitment to the democratic right to self-determination and its position as a key agent in political normalization.

Looking forward, Blanco called for the party to modernize for the 21st century to remain relevant to societal demands. She described EA as a reference for social democratic independence. Blanco also noted that she will step down from her leadership role following the national congress scheduled for November 28 and 29 in Arrasate.
