EV Lindau Islanders defeat HC Tigers Dornbirn 6-2 in Bodensee Derby

The EV Lindau Islanders secured a decisive 6-2 victory against HC Tigers Dornbirn in the first Bodensee Derby of the Oberliga-Süd season. Led by head coach Marko Šakić, the Islanders earned their first win of the new season and claimed the Bodensee-Derby-Pokal.

Lindau established an early lead with Marvin Feigl scoring a shorthanded goal in the fourth minute, followed by a power-play goal from Rocco Andreacchi in the ninth minute. Noah Kane extended the lead to 0-3 in the second period. Although Dornbirn managed to score once to bring the game to 1-3, Lindau's penalty killing remained effective. Rocco Andreacchi scored his second goal of the match in the 35th minute to further solidify the Islanders' position.
