EV Resources achieves 81% antimony recovery; Ore Resources expands lithium drilling in Western Australia
EV Resources Ltd reported a successful metallurgical test at its Tecomatlán processing plant in Puebla, Mexico, achieving an 81.1% antimony recovery using bulk flotation and producing a concentrate grade of 62.9% Sb. The company said the result validates its hub‑and‑spoke model, can be achieved with minimal additional CAPEX, and could allow first production within 10‑12 months pending environmental permits.
Ore Resources Ltd announced drill extensions at the Kangaroo Hills lithium project in Western Australia. New intercepts at the Big Red and Potoroo pegmatite systems returned lithium grades of roughly 1.0‑1.6% Li₂O over several metres, confirming continued mineralisation and growth potential. The firm plans further drilling, metallurgical testing and a regulatory update later this year as it evaluates export or domestic sales pathways.
