EV Resources Secures First Five-Year Antimony Ore Supply Deal for Mexican Plant

EV Resources Limited (ASX:EVR) announced that its Mexican subsidiary, Stibcorp S.A. de C.V., has signed a binding five‑year ore supply agreement with Lucero Grupo Minero de Puebla (Chinantla). The contract provides high‑grade antimony ore to the Tecomatlán processing plant in Mexico, located about 8 km from the mine. Metallurgical testwork on the Chinantla ore achieved an 81.1 % antimony recovery and a 42.4 % concentrate grade, confirming its suitability for the plant’s proof‑of‑concept campaign. EV Resources is also acquiring an initial 200‑tonne stockpile of the ore to feed the upcoming trial run and is completing plant commissioning. Executive Chairman Shane Menere said, “This is an important milestone because we are progressively bringing together every component required for the Tecomatlán proof‑of‑concept campaign.” The agreement comes as global demand for non‑Chinese antimony is supported by export restrictions from China and its designation as a critical mineral by the United States, European Union and Australia.
