Eva Benetatou reports son injured at daycare

Reality TV personality Eva Benetatou shared on social media that her five-year-old son, George, sustained an eye injury caused by a pointed trellis at a daycare center. The child was transported via ambulance from an initial hospital to the Diakonie Düsseldorf children's clinic for specialized care.

Benetatou described the incident as a “stroke of luck” because the injury could have been significantly worse by only a few millimeters, according to medical staff. While the immediate danger has passed, the child remains under observation and requires follow-up examinations by an ophthalmologist.

Benetatou has expressed significant anger regarding the incident, placing responsibility on the daycare facility. She indicated that she intends to pursue consequences and plans to share further details regarding the circumstances and potential prior incidents at the facility.
