Eva Burešová adopts new name Saija for metal music career

Czech actress and singer Eva Burešová has officially changed her name to Saija on her birth certificate to coincide with her transition into metal music. The name, which is Finnish for “princess,” was chosen because it resonated with her internal creative voice.

Burešová filmed a music video for her song “Mlč” at the historic Hotel Lesní mlýn in Mariánské Lázně. The location, once a luxury complex frequented by European royalty during the Belle Époque, provided a dark and atmospheric backdrop for her new musical direction.
