Eva Cruzeiro marries partner Naima Pacheco in Lisbon

Socialist Party deputy Eva Cruzeiro married her long-term partner, architect and digital influencer Naima Pacheco, in a ceremony held in Lisbon on August 13. The couple, who had been in a relationship for four years, celebrated the event with friends and family.

Cruzeiro, who also has a career in music and serves as a deputy for the Lisbon electoral circle in the Assembly of the Republic, noted that while they initially planned a discreet civil ceremony, their families encouraged a larger celebration to honor their relationship.

Reflecting on the significance of the event, Cruzeiro described love as an ‘act of politics’ and highlighted the ongoing struggle for legal marriage equality in various parts of the world. She emphasized that the public sharing of their relationship serves to demonstrate the stability and seriousness of their family unit.
