Eva Longoria culinary series premieres on Metro Channel
The culinary series “Eva Longoria: Searching for France” is set to premiere on Metro Channel on Sunday, August 23, at 7 p.m. The program follows actress and director Eva Longoria as she travels through various French regions, including Paris, Provence, Bordeaux, Alsace, Brittany, and Burgundy.
Longoria explores the concept of terroir and the historical evolution of French dining. Her journey includes sampling oysters with chef Alain Ducasse in Paris, tasting traditional bouillabaisse in Provence, and discovering wine pairings in Bordeaux. In Brittany, she explores coastal seafood, while in Burgundy, she meets Cistercian monks who practice traditional cheese-making.
The series also highlights French pâtisserie, featuring works from Cedric Grolet and Ladurée. The journey concludes with a seven-course fine-dining experience along the Seine River alongside chef Eric Ripert and food writer Lindsay Tramuta.
