Eva Longoria films ‘Marcelo in the Real World’ in Boston
Actress Eva Longoria has been spotted filming in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston for the upcoming film adaptation of Francisco X. Strok’s novel, ‘Marcelo in the Real World’. Longoria was seen on Taft Street alongside co-star Eugenio Derbez, participating in scenes for the production directed by Lucia Puenzo and produced by Zeta Studios and Elefantec Global.
The film follows a 17-year-old on the autism spectrum as he gains professional experience at his father’s corporate law firm in downtown Boston. Filming activities in the area have necessitated local traffic restrictions and no-parking zones on Taft Street.
In recent interviews, Longoria has discussed her decision to spend significant time outside of California, noting that her work frequently takes her to Mexico and Spain. She clarified that her relocation was driven by professional commitments rather than political motivations.
