Eva Mendes Announces Acting Comeback, Leaning on Husband Ryan Gosling

Eva Mendes, who stepped away from Hollywood for more than ten years to raise her two daughters, is reportedly preparing a major return to film. Insiders say she is meeting with directors and studio executives while relying on husband Ryan Gosling to take on a larger share of parenting duties so she can focus on auditions.

Rumors link her to a role in the upcoming 2027 "Star Wars: Starfighter" movie, which stars Gosling, as well as to the next Fast & Furious installment, tentatively titled "Fast Forever," slated for 2028. A source said, “She’s leaning on Ryan to pick up the slack at home and slow down his usually packed schedule.”
