Eva Mendes reveals meaning behind Ryan Gosling tribute tattoo

Actress Eva Mendes has shared new details regarding her wrist tattoo, which features the phrase ‘de Gosling’. In a recent series of Instagram photos, Mendes showcased the ink and responded to fans, stating, ‘It’s the only one I have, the only one I’ve ever wanted.’

The tattoo, which translates to ‘of Gosling’ in Hispanic culture, has long fueled speculation about her relationship with longtime partner Ryan Gosling. While the couple has maintained a private life since meeting on the set of ‘The Place Beyond the Pines’ in 2011, Mendes has occasionally offered glimpses into their family life. In November 2022, during an appearance on the Australian program ‘Today’, she referred to Gosling as her husband.

The couple shares two daughters, Esmeralda and Amada. Mendes has previously noted that she chose to step back from her acting career to focus on raising her children, describing it as the easiest decision she ever made.
