Eva Perón Municipal Swimming Pool reopens after renovations

The Eva Perón Municipal Swimming Pool in Río Grande is set to resume activities in its wading pool and medium-sized pool this Monday, following a series of infrastructure renovations. Funded by the municipality, the upgrades include the installation of a new 90,000-calorie boiler designed to heat approximately 220,000 liters of water.

The new equipment will maintain water temperatures between 30 and 31 degrees Celsius, benefiting the swimming school, kindergartens, elderly programs, and rehabilitation services. The upgrade is expected to impact over 2,500 daily users by improving thermal stability, safety, and operational efficiency. Additionally, the maintenance work included replacing the filtration media in the Triton TR-140 filter with approximately 420 kg of new material.
