Evag adjusts Erfurt bus schedules and stop names

Erfurter Verkehrsbetriebe (Evag) is implementing several changes to its public transport network in Erfurt. Following the closure of the Zalando logistics center at the Freight Transport Center (GVZ), the bus stops previously named ‘Zalando Süd’ and ‘Zalando Nord’ have been renamed to ‘In der Hochstedter Ecke’ and ‘GVZ, Ost’, respectively.

To accommodate population growth, bus line 58 will offer additional services for the Märchensiedlung area, including weekday evening trips and extra Saturday morning services. Additionally, line 155 will include a new stop in Obergasse to serve parents in Kranichfeld.

Following the completion of track work between Willy-Brandt-Platz and Stadtparkkopf, bus lines 9, 51, and 60, along with trams, have resumed regular service through the station tunnel. However, diversions remain in effect for several lines, including 52 and 155, due to the full closure of the Schmidtstedter Knoten.
