Evander Kane denies bullying allegations from former teammate

NHL player Evander Kane is facing serious allegations from former teammate Kurtis Gabriel regarding his conduct during their time with the San Jose Sharks. Gabriel described Kane as a “typical bully” who was frequently late to meetings, failed to follow dress codes, and intimidated teammates.

Gabriel also shared a message from Patrick Marleau’s wife, Christina Marleau, claiming that Marleau held a “strong hatred” for Kane and would prevent his sons from entering the locker room if Kane was present.

Kane responded to these claims on X, posting a screenshot of a message from Patrick Marleau thanking him for helping Marleau’s son with a school project. Kane questioned the validity of the claims, suggesting that if the alleged hatred were real, Marleau would not have reached out for personal assistance. Kane stated he intends to release his own facts and truths regarding the situation in the future.
