Evangelia Liakouli attends Grape Festival in Damasi

Evangelia Liakouli, Member of Parliament for Larissa and Justice, Institutions and Transparency spokesperson for PASOK–Movement for Change, attended the 2nd Grape Festival in Damasi. The event honored local viticulture traditions and the resilience of the community.

During her visit, Liakouli addressed the ongoing hardships faced by the residents of Damasi, noting that many are still living in containers following earthquake damage and have been further impacted by the climate crisis. She criticized the government for its perceived indifference toward the lives and families in the region. Liakouli described the festival as a message of strength and a commitment to continue local production despite these challenges, calling for political change to ensure dignity and humanity for all citizens.
