Evangelia Liakouli visits Larissa to address local traditions and viticulture crisis

Evangelia Liakouli, a PASOK – Movement for Change MP for Larissa, has been conducting visits to various locations in the region to engage with local communities and address regional concerns.

In Elatia, Liakouli participated in celebrations for Saint Fanourios, attending religious services and local cultural events. She emphasized the importance of maintaining community traditions and direct human connection in an era increasingly dominated by digital communication and artificial intelligence.

In Rapsani, Liakouli attended the Wine and Grape Festival, where she met with local producers and officials. During her visit, she addressed the significant distress facing local viticulturists. She noted that the festival took on a tone of protest due to the bankruptcy of a company that reportedly left 60% of the Rapsani PDO wine production in a state of crisis. Liakouli pledged to bring the struggles of these producers to the Greek Parliament.
