Evangelical Parliamentary Front defends Marcos Rogério

The Evangelical Parliamentary Front (FPE) has issued a statement defending Senator Marcos Rogério following criticisms raised during a debate between candidates for the government of Rondônia. During the debate, candidate Adailton Fúria questioned the allocation of funds for the construction of the National Bible Museum in Brasília.

The FPE clarified that the claim that Marcos Rogério allocated R$ 14 million in amendments for the project is “absolutely false.” According to official documents, the senator’s specific contribution was R$ 483,214.19, part of a larger transfer contract totaling R$ 14.125 million. The FPE explained that the higher figure represents the combined contributions of various parliamentarians from different states, rather than a single individual's allocation.

The statement, signed by FPE President Gilberto Nascimento, emphasized the importance of the museum for preserving religious and cultural heritage. The entity also expressed support for Rogério, citing his legislative record regarding faith, family, and religious freedom.
