Evangelina Anderson shares reflections on Mexican traditions and personal loss

Model Evangelina Anderson has used her social media platforms to share insights into Mexican Day of the Dead traditions and to mourn the passing of a close friend.

Reflecting on her time living in Monterrey, Anderson detailed the specific schedule of the Day of the Dead celebrations. She noted that the observance begins on October 27 with a day dedicated to deceased pets, followed by October 28 for those who died accidentally or tragically, and October 29 for those who drowned. The calendar continues on October 30 for forgotten souls, October 31 for ancestors, and November 1 for deceased children.

Separately, Anderson expressed deep grief following the death of a close friend. In a social media tribute, she described the loss as soul-crushing, stating, “Eras demasiado para este plano” (You were too much for this plane), and noted that while her friend is no longer physically present, her light and smile will remain with those who knew her.
