Evangelion 30th Anniversary Celebrations Include Bay Area Film Fest and Global Store Campaign

GKIDS will host the Evangelion 30th Movie Fest on July 21‑22, 2026, screening Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth and The End of Evangelion in selected Bay Area theatres. Tickets are on sale; the films will be shown in the original Japanese with English subtitles at 7 p.m. venues include Cinemark and AMC locations across San Jose, Mountain View, Redwood City, Daly City, Fremont, Emeryville, San Francisco and surrounding counties.

Separately, the Evangelion Store, partnered with Buyee, is launching a global exclusive campaign on July 1, 2026. For every ¥5,000 spent, customers receive a random original clear card featuring Asuka Langley Soryu or Rei Ayanami, with up to eight cards per transaction. The promotion celebrates the series’ 30th anniversary (original debut in October 2025) and runs while supplies last.
