Evangelion XR game teaser reveals new gameplay details

A new teaser trailer has been released for EVANGELION: Δ CROSS REFLECTIONS, an upcoming extended reality (XR) game based on the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion. Developed by Pixelity Inc. under a licensing agreement with Khara Inc., the project is planned as a trilogy covering the original 26-episode series.

Early hands-on previews in San Francisco have showcased features such as hand-tracked locomotion and immersive combat modes. Players take on the role of a NERV officer cadet, interacting with characters and battling Angels in an action-adventure setting. The first installment is targeted for release in 2026, though some reports suggest an early release as soon as next year.

The game aims to utilize XR's immersive capabilities, including cooperative play and high-realism battles. While specific platform details and a definitive release date remain unconfirmed, the project is being positioned as a full-scale gaming experience rather than a short demo.
