Evann Guessand joins Crystal Palace on loan from Aston Villa

Crystal Palace has officially announced the return of Ivorian striker Evann Guessand on a season-long loan from Aston Villa. The deal includes an obligation to purchase the player.

Guessand previously spent the second half of last season at Crystal Palace, where he made 14 appearances and scored two goals. During his tenure, he contributed to the club's UEFA Conference League campaign. The striker, who previously played for clubs including Nice, Marseille, and Nantes, is the fourth summer arrival for the Eagles alongside Óscar Mingueza, Takehiro Tomiyasu, and Dwight McNeil.

Crystal Palace President Steve Parish expressed enthusiasm regarding the signing, stating the club believes Guessand can help drive further success. Guessand noted his happiness to return to the club and his desire to build on his previous memories at Selhurst Park.
