Evansville Rescue Mission thrift store announces expansion

The Thrift Store by Evansville Rescue Mission, located in the Washington Square Mall, is undergoing an expansion and renovation. The project includes a new look for the retail space and an expansion of Mission Grounds, the coffee shop located alongside the store.

Proceeds from the thrift store support the Evansville Rescue Mission, an organization that has provided services to individuals facing homelessness, poverty, and addiction for 109 years. The Grand Reveal of the updated facilities is scheduled for Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 10 a.m.
