Evansville to host free 812 Day block party

On August 12, several businesses and organizations in Evansville, Indiana, will host an annual 812 Day block party to celebrate the local community and its area code. The free event will take place in downtown Evansville and is organized by River City Coffee & Goods, Young & Established, and Eight12 Run Club.

The celebration will feature more than 20 local makers, small businesses, and food vendors offering items such as handmade goods, jewelry, baked treats, barbecue, and vegan options. Attendees can also enjoy live DJs, food trucks, giveaways, and a photo booth. A portion of the sales from new Evansville merchandise will be donated to Young & Established.
