Eveliina Salonen wins 2026 PDGA Pro World Championship
Eveliina Salonen secured her second PDGA Pro World Championship title in Milford, Michigan, with a historic performance. Finishing 17 strokes ahead of runner-up Missy Gannoni, Salonen achieved a total score of 43 under par across five rounds.
Salonen’s performance earned a 1023 event rating, the highest-rated performance at a World Championship in history. Her final round of 14 under par set a course record for the women’s division and tied the fourth-largest margin of victory in FPO Worlds history.
In the MPO division, 21-year-old Rainers Balodis finished as the runner-up following a playoff. Meanwhile, Silva Saarinen finished in fifth place after a final round that included three bogeys and one double bogey, despite an initial strong start.
