Even Healthcare raises $50 million in Series B funding

Bengaluru-based Even Healthcare has secured $50 million in a Series B funding round led by Khosla Ventures, with participation from Alpha Wave. This investment triples the company's valuation compared to its previous fundraise 18 months ago, bringing its total funding to over $120 million.

The company plans to use the capital to open five new hospitals across Bengaluru within the next six months. Even Healthcare utilizes a managed care model that integrates healthcare delivery, financing, and technology to prioritize patient outcomes over service utilization.

According to the company, its membership-based approach has resulted in unplanned hospital readmission rates below 1%, compared to an industry average of 8% to 15%, and average hospital stays that are 40% shorter.
