Event cancellations reported in Marinha Grande and Porto Santo

The 34th edition of the National Craft and Gastronomy Fair (FAG) in Marinha Grande has been cancelled. The Associação Social, Cultural e Desportiva de Casal Galego cited damage caused by storm Kristin at the Municipal Exhibition Park as a primary cause. The association noted that the venue was “totally destroyed” following the January 28 storm, and attempts to relocate the event were unsuccessful due to prohibitive logistical costs and infrastructure requirements.

Separately, the CISET 4x4 trial competition scheduled for November 21 and 22 in Porto Santo has also been cancelled. The organizer, X-Adventure, stated that the decision followed the withdrawal of municipal support. Due to this cancellation, the 2026 competition season has officially concluded, with final rankings determined by the previous race in Vila Nova de Cerveira.
