Eventin tanker seizure proceedings halted by German court
A German court has terminated urgent proceedings to seize the Eventin, a Russian oil tanker currently stranded off the coast of Rügen in the Baltic Sea. The legal dispute continues while the vessel remains stationary near Sassnitz, a situation that has drawn criticism from the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern state government due to concerns regarding the local tourism season.
