Evergo Fest attracts over 2,000 attendees in Bávaro

More than 2,000 people attended the second edition of Evergo Fest, held on October 16 and 17 at Evergo Connect in Bávaro. The event featured electric vehicle exhibitions, including motorcycles, commercial units, 4x4s, buses, and camping models, alongside test drives and guidance from dealers and financial institutions.

To mark its sixth anniversary, Evergo organized the festival to promote electric mobility. General Manager Rodrigo Centineo stated the initiative aims to help the public experience and understand electric transportation more easily. The company currently operates over 500 charging stations in the Dominican Republic and more than 1,300 across the region.

A notable feature of this edition was its use of 100% renewable energy provided by CEPM. Solar energy generated during the day was stored in battery energy storage systems (BESS) to power the event throughout the night, demonstrating the integration of solar generation, storage, and electric mobility.
