Everland YouTube channel surpasses 2 million subscribers

Everland, operated by Samsung C&T Resort Division, has become the first in the travel and leisure industry to surpass 2 million subscribers on its official YouTube channel. The milestone was reached on the 19th, following a rapid growth period where the subscriber count doubled in approximately three years and three months after reaching 1 million in July 2023.

The channel's popularity is largely driven by content featuring the panda family, including Fu Bao, twins Rui Bao and Hui Bao, and the recently born Shu Bao. Videos documenting the pandas' growth and their interactions with zookeepers have garnered significant domestic and international interest. The channel has uploaded approximately 3,600 videos, accumulating roughly 830 million views.

To engage younger audiences, Everland has expanded its use of short-form content and collaborations with K-pop artists. Recent successful collaborations include promotional videos for Caribbean Bay featuring groups such as IVE and fromis_9, as well as content featuring ATEEZ's San for the Blood City horror theme zone. To celebrate the milestone, Everland is hosting a comment event through November 1st.
