Everllence to supply 16 gensets for Smit Lamnalco tugs in Guyana
Everllence has signed a contract with a Turkish shipyard to supply 16 175D gensets for four Rampage 6000-DE offshore terminal tugs. Designed by Robert Allen, these vessels will be operated by Smit Lamnalco, a Boskalis company, to support a Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) fleet in Guyana’s Stabroek Block.
The tugs are intended to support large-scale deepwater oil production through functions including towing, safety, logistics, dynamic positioning, and maintenance. Each of the four shipsets will consist of two 12V175D-MEL (2,280 kW) engines and two 16V175D-MEM (2,560 kW) engines.
Delivery of the first shipset is expected by the end of 2026, with the remaining sets scheduled for delivery throughout 2027. Smit Lamnalco selected Everllence based on its reputation for reliability, technical support, and fuel efficiency.
