Everspin Technologies appoints Vikas Choudhary to board and partners with MaxLinear

Everspin Technologies has appointed Vikas Choudhary to its board of directors, effective August 10, 2026. Choudhary, who currently serves as senior vice president and general manager of the Connectivity and Storage Business Unit at MaxLinear, brings over 30 years of semiconductor experience to the role.

In a separate strategic move, Everspin Technologies and MaxLinear have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to collaborate on next-generation memory architectures. The partnership aims to evaluate the integration of Everspin’s persistent, low-latency Magnetoresistive Random Access Memory (MRAM) with MaxLinear’s storage compression, encryption, and hardware acceleration platforms.

The collaboration focuses on improving the efficiency and performance of AI servers. By combining persistent memory with acceleration and compression technologies, the companies intend to address the growing demands of AI models and inference workloads, specifically regarding metadata management, write buffering, and cache functions in data-intensive environments.
