Evertec expands Brazilian market through R$ 4 billion in acquisitions
Evertec has significantly expanded its presence in Brazil, establishing the country as its second-largest market. Since the acquisition of Sinqia in 2023, the company has invested approximately R$ 4 billion in various acquisitions.
In early 2026, Evertec acquired Dimensa, a spin-off from TOTVS with participation from B3, for R$ 980 million. This move added over 15,000 clients in the banking, insurance, risk, and fund sectors to its portfolio. Additionally, the company has increased its involvement in blockchain infrastructure and tokenization through BBChain.
Claudio Prado, executive vice president and head of Evertec Brazil, noted that while the company needs to integrate its recent major acquisition, opportunities for inorganic growth remain in Brazil. He specifically identified a gap in specialized software solutions for insurance companies.
