Everton advances to Copa Chile knockout stage after 1-0 win over Deportes Copiapó

Everton de Viña del Mar secured a place in the Copa Chile round of 16 by defeating Deportes Copiapó 1‑0 at the Estadio Luis Valenzuela Hermosilla in the Atacama Region. The lone goal came in the 64th minute when Hugo Magallanes struck from inside the area. The victory gave Everton eight points, finishing second in Group B and clinching the group’s second qualification slot. Deportes Copiapó remained on four points and were eliminated from the tournament.
