Everton and Leeds United monitor Rennes striker Esteban Lepaul

Premier League clubs Everton and Leeds United are reportedly interested in signing Rennes striker Esteban Lepaul. The 26-year-old French forward has emerged as a significant target following a highly productive season in Ligue 1, where he scored 20 league goals.

Everton is said to be in a leading position to potentially recruit the striker, though several other English clubs, including Aston Villa, Brentford, and Brighton, have also shown interest. While some reports suggest a potential move in the January window, Rennes remains in a strong position to retain the player. The French club has secured Lepaul with a contract running until 2030 and currently competes in the Europa League.

Lepauls recent form, including four goals in his opening six appearances this campaign, has also earned him his first senior call-up to the France national team.
