Santos FC signs Everton Cebolinha and nears Philippe Coutinho deal

Santos FC is undergoing significant squad reinforcement. The club has officially signed attacker Everton Cebolinha from Flamengo on a contract valid until the end of 2026. Cebolinha, 30, expressed his desire to seek protagonism after limited opportunities at Flamengo and noted his excitement to play alongside Neymar Jr. and Gabigol.

In a parallel move, Santos has reached an agreement to sign midfielder Philippe Coutinho as a free agent. The deal, which was heavily influenced by Neymar Jr. through his management company NR Sports, will see the 34-year-old join the club until the end of 2026. Coutinho is expected to undergo medical examinations shortly.

Other recent arrivals at the club include Arthur, Rodinei, and Lima. Additionally, the club has confirmed the return of midfielder Sandry to Santos following his loan spell at Criciúma.
