Chilean football: Everton wins late, San Luis leads Ascenso

In the Chilean football leagues, several key results have shaped the standings. In the Primera División, Everton de Viña del Mar secured a dramatic 3-2 comeback victory against Deportes La Serena at Estadio Sausalito. After trailing twice, Everton won via two late penalties scored by Braian Martínez and Alan Medina, moving them into fourth place and putting pressure on Universidad de Chile for Copa Libertadores qualification.

Unión La Calera earned a 1-1 draw against Deportes Concepción. Cristopher Díaz scored a 96th-minute equalizer to help the team avoid defeat, though the club remains in the direct relegation zone at the bottom of the table.

In the Ascenso Championship, San Luis de Quillota has taken sole possession of first place following a 1-0 victory over Deportes Puerto Montt. Led by manager Humberto Suazo, the team reached 50 points with three matches remaining in the season.
