Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi attracts Premier League interest
Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi has emerged as a major transfer target for several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Everton, Newcastle United, and Leeds United. The 22-year-old German Under-21 international has seen a significant rise in profile following an impressive start to the season, highlighted by a hat-trick against Inter Milan in the Champions League.
Arsenal is reportedly monitoring the forward as a potential option to bolster their attacking depth, potentially as a long-term solution or competition for Viktor Gyokeres. The Gunners' interest is bolstered by Tresoldi's previous partnership with Christos Tzolis at Brugge. Other major European clubs, including Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Atletico Madrid, and Chelsea, are also reportedly tracking his progress.
Despite the intense interest, Club Brugge has indicated they have no intention of sanctioning a sale during the January transfer window. The Belgian club aims to retain the player until the summer to secure a record-breaking transfer fee, which is expected to exceed the £33.5m–£40m previously earned for Christos Tzolis. Current market valuations suggest a potential fee could reach upwards of €45m.
