Everton offers €35 million for Galatasaray winger Baris Alper Yilmaz

Everton Football Club has tabled a €35 million (approximately £30‑35 million) bid to sign Turkish international Baris Alper Yilmaz from Galatasaray. The Turkish club has set an asking price of €50 million, leaving a €15 million gap that Everton officials are trying to bridge after traveling to Istanbul in early August.

Yilmaz, 26, has earned 38 caps for Turkey and made over 140 appearances for Galatasaray since joining the club in July 2021 for a reported €2.1 million. He has recorded double‑digit goal and assist tallies in each of the last two Super Lig seasons. A deal in the €40‑45 million range would rank among Everton’s most expensive signings, reflecting the club’s willingness to invest in a player at the peak of his career.

Negotiations remain ongoing, with both sides assessing the financial terms and the player’s potential impact in the Premier League.
