Everton Pursues Atletico Madrid Right‑Back Nahuel Molina

Everton Football Club is targeting 28‑year‑old Argentine right back Nahuel Molina for a summer 2026 transfer from Atletico Madrid. The Spanish club is reportedly willing to sell the defender for around €20 million, lower than earlier estimates of €22‑30 million. Everton hopes to add depth to the right‑back position, where they currently rely mainly on Nathan Patterson, and see Molina’s experience – including a World Cup win in 2022 and a role in Argentina’s 2026 final – as valuable for a push for European qualification.

The Toffees will face competition from Italian sides such as Roma and Napoli, as well as other European clubs, but believe they have the resources to meet Atletico’s price and secure the player before the window closes.
