Everton targets Franculino and four other signings before transfer deadline
Everton is preparing a significant late push in the transfer market before the deadline, targeting several key positions including a striker, right-back, left-back, and centre-back.
A primary focus of their recruitment efforts is 22-year-old FC Midtjylland forward Franculino. The club has reportedly held fresh talks with his agents after extensive scouting. Franculino, who has scored 58 goals in 115 appearances for the Danish side, is considered fully fit and open to a move to the Premier League. A transfer fee of approximately €25 million (£21.4 million) is cited as a potential figure to secure the deal, though Newcastle is also monitoring the player.
Everton’s search for a striker is also linked to the potential departure of Beto, though the club is expected to secure a replacement before allowing him to leave. The club's recruitment activity follows a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace as manager David Moyes seeks to reshape the squad.
