Everton also explored a move for Aston Villa striker Tammy Abraham, but the player declined the opportunity, opting instead to compete for a position under Unai Emery. Additionally, a £10 million loan offer for Manchester United's Joshua Zirkzee was blocked by his parent club due to concerns regarding squad depth.
