Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye's £75m transfer saga sees Al Hilal outbid Manchester United

Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal has moved to meet Everton’s £75 million valuation for Senegalese winger Iliman Ndiaye, offering a salary higher than he could earn in Europe and willing to pay the fee upfront. The club’s readiness to satisfy both the transfer fee and wage demands has strengthened its position and forced Everton to keep the price firm, sidelining Manchester United’s bid, which was reportedly reluctant to meet the £75 million price tag.

Manchester United’s interest appears to have waned after reports that Ndiaye’s father said his son would not consider a move to the Middle East, and the club cited the high cost as a barrier. With Al Hilal’s offer on the table, Everton is expected to demand a premium, and the transfer could be finalised within days if the parties reach an agreement.
