EVERY1 project targets digital literacy for Europe's energy transition

The EVERY1 project, funded by the Horizon Europe program, is addressing the digital literacy gap within the European energy transition. As the sector shifts from a focus on renewable expansion to digitalization, tools such as smart meters, digital platforms, and data-based infrastructures are becoming central to energy production and consumption.

To ensure the success of this transition, a consortium of eleven partners from seven European countries is working to equip citizens, local authorities, businesses, and regulators with the necessary digital skills. Experts suggest that the primary obstacle to a successful digital energy transition is not technological, but rather the capacity of users to understand and utilize these new digital tools.
