Evia beaches Kourdi and Souvala heavily damaged by bad weather

Severe bad weather has caused significant damage to two well-known beaches in Chalkida, Evia. The Kourdi and Souvala beaches are currently covered in large amounts of debris, including wood, branches, reeds, tree trunks, and various types of waste.

The accumulation of these materials has covered significant portions of the sand and surrounded beach facilities, such as straw umbrellas. The situation has created an urgent need for extensive cleaning operations and interventions to restore the coastline to its previous state and assess any additional damage to local infrastructure.
