North Florida leads women's golf at Evie Odom Invitational
The University of North Florida women's golf team has taken a seven-stroke lead at the Evie Odom Invitational held at Princess Anne Country Club. After two rounds, the Ospreys sit at 15-under par 545. Senior Kaitlyn Schroeder currently leads the individual leaderboard at 7-under 133, while teammate Mohea Mansbendel is tied for third at 6-under 134.
Other notable performances include Penn State in second place at 8-under and South Carolina in third at 5-under. The Georgia Bulldogs moved into ninth place following a second-round score of 2-under 278, led by freshman Ashley Shaw’s 3-under 67.
In the middle of the pack, Sacramento State sits in 10th place, while Lehigh is in 13th place after recording rounds of 299 and 294. The University of Louisville finished the tournament in eighth place with a total of 26-over-par 866, led by Amy Hodgkins.
