HBO Max launches horror-themed Halloween collection

HBO Max has launched its ‘Horror Comes Home’ collection for October 2026, featuring over 100 titles including new releases, franchise favorites, and classics.

A major highlight is the streaming debut of ‘Evil Dead Burn’, which transitioned to the platform on October 2, 2026, following its theatrical run. The platform is also introducing ‘Crystal Lake’, a series produced by A24 that serves as a prequel to the Friday the 13th universe, starring Linda Cardellini. Other notable content includes the thriller ‘Kill Jackie’, starring Catherine Zeta-Jones.

To access the service, viewers can utilize various bundles. For instance, DIRECTV’s Premier package offers a five-day free trial of HBO Max. Other options include the Disney+, Hulu, and HBO Max bundle, which provides a cost reduction compared to individual subscriptions.
