Evil Dead Burn launches on 4K Ultra HD, Blu‑ray and Steelbook in Germany, with French theatrical release on July 8

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, via Plaion Pictures, will distribute the 2026 horror film Evil Dead Burn in Germany. The movie will be offered in a limited‑edition Steelbook featuring 4K Ultra HD, Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD 7.1 and DTS‑HD Master Audio, as well as in standard editions on 4K UHD, Blu‑ray and DVD. The cast includes Souheila Yacoub, Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan and others. A specific German release date has not yet been announced.

In France the film opened in cinemas on 8 July 2026. Directed by Sébastien Vaniček, the sixth entry in the Evil Dead franchise follows Alice and her toxic in‑law family as they battle the demonic Deadites. The climax sees Alice using a new “kandar” dagger to defeat the possessed Will, with post‑credits scenes that link the story to earlier installments of the series.
