Evil Dead Burn slated for worldwide release on July 10, 2026

The sixth entry in Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead franchise, Evil Dead Burn, is set to hit theaters on July 10, 2026 in the United States (July 9 in Peru). The film is directed by French filmmaker Sébastien Vaniček, who co‑wrote the screenplay with Florent Bernard and describes the movie as a “brutal” take on the series with less gore and more raw violence.

The cast includes Souheila Yacoub as Alice, joined by Tandi Wright, Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan and others. Produced by Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert for Ghost House Pictures, New Line Cinema and Screen Gems, Warner Bros. Pictures will handle U.S. and Canadian distribution while Sony Pictures Releasing International will distribute elsewhere.

Box‑office tracking by Quorum forecasts a domestic opening of $25 million to $35 million, potentially surpassing the franchise’s previous record of $25.8 million set by the 2013 reboot. The film’s budget is reported at $15‑$20 million. Marketing efforts include a trailer and poster, and the studio plans to capitalize on a strong 2026 horror market.

Vaniček, previously known for the creature‑feature Infested, discussed the intense post‑production schedule and his vision for a “dry, brutal” horror experience. The director’s recent press tour has drawn additional attention, highlighting both the film’s creative direction and the franchise’s continued popularity.
